Jamie and Jord got hitched!

Last week we were so lucky to be able so spend the day celebrating the wedding of some of our very bestest best friends.
It was such a gorgeous wedding all around.
Gorgeous day, bride and groom, friends and family, flowers and food.
It was such an easy going day, everyone had such a good time and it was spent mingling with each other and having a good time.

A little baby fun

I want to share one of my most favorite sites for pregnant women.
It has so much good information and an awesome app that you get daily updates on.
You can also sign up for a weekly email that tells you how your baby is growing and developing.
It is so amazing how much they change every single week.
Here's what it says about this week.
Your growing baby now measures about 4 inches long, crown to rump, and weighs in at about 2 1/2 ounces (about the size of an apple). She's busy moving amniotic fluid through her nose and upper respiratory tract, which helps the primitive air sacs in her lungs begin to develop. Her legs are growing longer than her arms now, and she can move all of her joints and limbs. Although hereyelids are still fused shut, she can sense light. If you shine a flashlight at your tummy, for instance, she's likely to move away from the beam. There's not much for your baby to taste at this point, but she is forming taste buds. Finally, if you have an ultrasound this week, you may be able to find out whether your baby's a boy or a girl! (Don't be too disappointed if it remains a mystery, though. Nailing down your baby's sex depends on the clarity of the picture and on your baby's position. He or she may be modestly curled up or turned in such a way as to "hide the goods."
Pretty awesome info huh?
I look forward to that email every single week.
It's so exciting to get to see how much your baby has grown in just one week.
It also has an animated photo of what your baby looks like that week, as well as a 3-D ultrasound photo.
Another fun thing is I have started feeling my little apple move :)
I forgot how much I love that feeling, theres nothing in the world like it.
So when all of you girlies out there get preggers sign up on this site, it's awesome.

Craziness

Hola fellow bloggers.
This month has been nuts, and now will continue to be nuts probably well into mid October.
Firstly because we are moving! YAY!
And to boot we are moving in a week and a half now and we haven't packed a single thing :)
Oh joy.
Four moves in three years... I wouldn't reccomend it.
Were getting it down pretty well though.
It shouldn't be too bad of a move, most of our stuff is still in storage and packed away in boxes.
I'm so excited to have our own space again.
Like ecstatic.
I love my family dont get me wrong, but any married couple that has lived with family at one point knows exactly what I am talking about... It's just better to have your own space.
I am feeling SO much better. I still get sick if I don't eat regularly but I am pretty good about it so it hasn't been bad at all this last week.
Today I am also re-starting on my prenatals.
My doctor told me to stop taking them because that is partially what was making me so sick all the time.
I get to go see Brady and Brooke's new baby today :)
Our 3 year anniversary is only a little over a week away
Yes I said 3, I can't really believe it.
We were going to make this year a big deal and go away for a few days but we figured that getting a house will be our anniversary gift instead, which is fine by me.
We find out what we are having in less then two weeks. Ah
We have started potty training... shoot me.
We are actually on hold right now and will probably be till we are moved, I just cannot sit and watch him every second of the day right now, (which is what I was having to do) there is too much to do.
So for now its pull-ups.
Hopefully he will get the hang of it quickly.
We are finally getting Kale's surgery done.
Snip snip time for the Kale man.
When Kale was born they couldn't circumcise him because he was so little and his body was already under so much stress that they wouldn't do it. We had to wait till he was over 9 months old to get it done and by then he's too old so they have to put him under, which makes it very expensive.
We haven't done it yet because it is considered cosmetic by the insurance companies which means they don't pay a penny for it, so we have to pay all out of pocket.
And it is not cheap.
November 1st is his consultation and then we will book the surgery from there.
So if I am mia in blogland for the next little while you understand why :)
Till next time!

the Fair 2011

Oh how I love the fair.
This year was ten times better too.
Kale knew all the animals, he loved looking at them all and saying their names and what noises they make
he had a blast on the rides
the pony ride was his absolute favorite part
he also loved watching the sea lion show and going down the big yellow slide
and Jon was there with us this year which made it so much better.
We were there from 2:30 to 10:00 p.m. needless to say we had a great day but were toast at the end.
And I would just like to add that Jon and Kale somehow rigged the yellow slide ride because I was ahead for 3/4 of the way down and somehow on the last bump they passed me... The pictures are proof.
Bunch of cheaters.
The yellow slide is definitely the best part of the day.
Yay for the fair!
And yay for 1. Our best friends Brady and Brooke having their baby arrive!! Sweet little Avery got here at two in the morning, pics to come!
And 2. Yay for our other best friends Jamie and Jordan who got married today! Wohoo!
Hooray for babies and weddings!

Kale and me

Tonight Jon is in Logan for Jord's bachelor party so me and Kale man have been hanging out  together all night long.
We have had a really great day, me and Kale played outside for over an hour and then we hopped into the hot tub and played for over two hours listening to some Michael Buble and soaking up lots of sunshine. My nosey even got a little red.
(And don't worry the water was only at 90 degrees so no problemo's with little one)
We came inside and hoped into the shower which by the way was the first shower that Kale has taken in a very long time.
When we very first moved in here Jon was in the shower one day and Kale ran in, and slipped and hit his head really hard so he has avoided it ever since then and only takes bath's.
But for some reason today he decided it was alright, and we had a lot of fun splashing around in the shower for 20 minutes.
Soon he's going to start realizing what things are and that mommy has different parts then he does and we won't be able to have showers together anymore.
He's getting so old...
We sure do miss Jonathan though, all night Kale has been calling for daddy and will randomly run out to see if he is outside somewhere.
We are finishing the night by watching Ratatouille and cuddling, a perfect way to end the night if you ask me.
 The little bump :)
(It's actually a little bigger in this picture because I had just finished eating dinner when I took it)
This part in pregnancy is hard because you can't tell that that's a baby belly and it just looks like I've gained a few pounds in that area.
Good thing I have a lot of loose shirts.
I had a blast playing with my little man today, love you Kale Thomas.

Bear Lake Labor Day

This trip up to the lake was much better then last time.
We were actually able to sit on the beach, soak up some sun and go boating more than once.
Kale had the time of his life playing on the beach, all he did was throw rocks into the water and he was completely content.
He also went on his first tube ride, it was so cute, the entire time he kept saying WOOHOO!!
As always when we go up to the cabin, we ate WAY too much of WAY too good of food.
I can't wait to go up again next year, I have a feeling that it is just going to get more and more fun each year as Kale gets older and is more able and wanting to do more things.
This would be Jon snuggling Tay...?
Jon and Kale man throwing rocks :) I love those two.

Ferguson reunion 2011

This year all the Fergs went up to Snowbird for a reunion and it was a blast.
We were only able to stay for one night because Jon has been so busy with work but we drove up in the evenings after he got off for the other days.
Here are some pics of the weekend.
The big blow up toy is at Jon's parents house, we had a bbq Saturday night after we all got back from the bird, all the kiddos had a blast, they played in the water for about three hours straight.
Thanks to Jake and Mindy for putting it all together!
